Critical Me

Critical Me formed back in December of 2001 out of San Diego, CA. The concept behind the name Critical Me is based on individuals being critical of and challenging the social and political boundaries that are forced upon us.
We wanted to convey this message with energetic punk rock as
our major influences our Pennywise, bad Religion, and Lagwagon. Using this foundation, we started playing major venues acrossed Southern California including House of Blues, Whisky A Go Go, Soma, Casbah, Canes Bar & Grill, Brick by Brick, and Epicenter. At the end of 2006, Critical Me signed with Magnitude 6.19 Records and released our debut album "Promised Land" in October of 2007.

One Big Lie
Josh: Vocals - Dave: Guitar
RollCage: Bass - Larry: Drums

One Big Lie is the true definition of a "Do It Yourself" band. Going
on 6 years of hardwork, OBL is still pressing hard in the punkrock
world, and are'nt stopping anytime soon! This style of punk is a
dying breed, and only a few out there still represent this in true
fashion.
In the mid to late 90's, bands like 98 Mute, Deviates,Guttermouth,
Pennywise, just to name a few, helped to set the foundation of a
melodic/hardcore punk scene in Southern Cali. This scene is drying up, with the majority
of bands going EMO, or fashion pop-punk. One Big Lie looks to re-vive the style of music
that they have a passion for by writing powerful songs that everyone can relate to at
one time or another in their lives. After a year of writing, producing, and getting
focused in the studio, the highly anticipated album "Blinded" is finally out, and
available! Now with solid ground to stand on, and a blistering arsenal of a CD, OBL is
in the works of signing to a reputable label, and hitting the road, to a town near you!

Pretty in Stereo
Following a long line of musical ground-breakers from Orange
County, California, that include The Offspring and No Doubt
just to name a few, the all-female quartet Pretty In Stereo,
breaks the confines of gender-labels in Rock music. The band
delivers memorable, emotionally-driven songs, equally melodic
and undeniable to the ear. Easily answering the eternal question
of "Can girls rock ?," Pretty In Stereo shames naysayers with
hook-laden songs and an energy filled stage presence, turning
non-believers into fans with every listen.
Despite the musical appeal of Pretty In Stereo, the success of the band resides in the individual strengths and upbringings of the band members. Each member has had professional influence and training ranging from musicians such as guitarist/vocalist Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) to drummer Rick Allen (Def Leppard). The band has also taken notes
and worked with established producers/composers such as Marcos Curiel (POD/Accident
Experiment), Jamie Houston (Macy Gray/Jessica Simpson), and Dave Hillis (Pearl Jam/
Alice In Chains).

Although relatively fresh to the Los Angeles scene, Pretty In Stereo has already
garnered national attention which has created licensing opportunities in film and
television. Their track, " Forever in A Day," , was featured in TV Guide Channel's
documentary about Kimberly Caldwell, a finalist in the national phenomenon American
Idol. They have also had several songs placed in the hit A&E reality show "Rollergirls'.
MTV’s very own “Laguna Beach” picked up on the hype and featured “Okay” in one of their
episodes. Meanwhile, Pretty In Stereo are generating substantial buzz on the web.
Their break-out track "OCD" has been selected as one of the five most downloaded songs
on CNET's Rock charts and is featured alongside noteworthy acts such as Green Day in
the Rock section of ArtistDirect's website. Guitar Player Magazine featured a full
page write-up on the band, and Alternative Press Magazine showcased the girls in their
"Unsigned Bands Of The Month" page. Both features generated yet more interest from readers.
Publicity on the web and favorable editorials from Music Connection and Buzzplay have
attracted new listeners to Pretty In Stereo's own website, drawing thousands of hits each
month and creating invaluable exposure. A thirst for the band's music has been felt at radio
as well. Along with airplay on one of SoCal’s popular Alternative radio stations, INDIE
103.1FM, the Inland Empire's KCXX 103.9FM has especially taken a liking to the group.
The station regularly presents and promotes Pretty In Stereo across the southland and
has even featured the band on their morning show - a spot that included both a live
acoustic performance and an interview.

In addition to film and television success, the band has had a lot of support from endorsements from Gibson, Vic Firth, Mesa Boogie, Coffin Case, Dunlop, Daisy Rock, MatAmp USA, and Celestion. Even Taco Bell jumped on the band-wagon per se, and supported the band in their ‘Feed the Beat’ program which gave the band $600 in Taco bell food vouchers. Last but not least, Pretty In Stereo brought home the 2006 Southern California Music Award for 'Best Pop Rock Band'.

Pretty In Stereo’s latest release, “Far Behind”, is a strong follow up to their four song EP “Ugly in Mono”. The buzz created by these two albums got the attention of Kevin Lyman, (founder of the Van’s Warped Tour), who invited the band to perform on the Southwest leg of the 2006 Van’s Warped Tour. In 2006, the band had the privilege of showcasing their talent at the nationally known SXSW (South by Southwest) Conference in Austin, TX.

With their amazing success so far, Pretty In Stereo are definitely on the way to Breaking the Stereotype and setting a new level of expectation for female musicians everywhere.

TERRORTAKESTOSOUND
JOHNNY: vocals|sampling|bass
PAUL: keys|sampling|lowvoice
MATT: drums
TYLER: guitar
JEREMY SAENZ: media|video|keys|projector_

TERRORTAKESTOSOUND was formed by Johnny Bisaha and Paul Hessing in winter of 2006. Wanting to get away from what was seen as "commercial" in the music industry. These two took in all influences, everything around them and used none of them, creating something completely different. The main goal in their minds was to make something completely different and chaotic, yet enjoyable. Their first EP, "The Face of Twilight" was a reflection of this exactly. Every song a new genre, every lyric a different message. The only problem in this situation was live performances. They asked Tyler Shields and Matt Taddeo to accompany them for live purposes. Matt on drums and Tyler on guitar, since any elements of TERRORTAKESTOSOUND are nearly impossible to do live, or were. After the 4 made their way through the sound, something was missing. Instead of being just a band on a stage, they wanted to make the whole idea of their live performance to be a show. Jeremy Saenz was soon added to bring this element to the stage with many visuals one will only experience at a TERRORTAKESTOSOUND show. With a rapidly growing fan base, TERRORTAKESTOSOUND is sure to conquer the world, and in time, destroy it.
